Karanji Mantapa
Karanji Mantapa is a historic place in the city that offers its tourists the feel about the glorious past. Featuring pushkarini which is made of slabs of red stones existing from 16th century, this place comprises of mandapas with beautiful stone carved chariot in the middle showcasing Kannada style of architecture.
Bathi Gudda
This is an ancient temple and a Dargah of Chaman Shah Wali on the peak. The two holy shrines are heavily crowded by devotees during annual festivals. The hill also houses a large variety of flora, Bathi Lake and Bhadra Sugar factory.

One of the best places with rich historical significance, the temple, built by Hoysala Empire, has outer walls and inner designs that show brilliant architechture. The king's army used this place to tie up elephants and cattles. The temple premises have several old-Kannada scriptures and Hero Stones.
